Faye has spent most of her career in the mortgage industry, most recently with US Bank and Tim is retired from Rockwell Collins.

They have been involved with Critter Crusaders of Cedar Rapids as dog handlers, worked at fundraising events and have also fostered dogs through surgery and recovery. 

​

Faye has been a volunteer at Cedar Rapids Animal Care & Control.

​

​Another group they’ve proudly worked with is PAWS Transport.  This group consists of helping transport dogs from high kill areas in the US to rescues in Iowa and Minnesota.

​

Faye and Tim have fostered 22 dogs with Fur Fun Rescue. They provided a safe and loving place to live as well as transportation to and from vet appointments. They've also contributed to the process of finding them new homes by introducing them to potential adopters. 

​

​Over the years, they have dog sat for family, friends and neighbors.

 

They currently have three dogs of their own; Dobby, Ruger & Leela.
