Our 18’ x 10’ heated pool is inspected and licensed by the Iowa Department of Public Health. With a depth of 4 feet, this pool is perfect for jumpers to make a splash or swimmers to just frolic around in. Swimming provides a full body workout that is easy on the joints, therapeutic and just plain fun!

Whether your pup is an experienced swimmer or has never been in the water, they will never be left unattended.

We understand that not all dogs know how to swim; so, a staff member will be right there in the water with them. For those that are unsure, we have an assortment of life jackets that can fit dogs as small as 2 pounds and as large as 140 pounds. For safety reasons we only allow one dog in the pool room at a time. At Hia Dog, our hope is that every dog can and will enjoy time in our swimming pool. 

 

• Swim time is an add-on service for our boarding and daycare visitors. 

• All dogs are required to have a release from your veterinarian to make sure they are healthy enough to swim.

• Dogs that are matted will not be allowed in the pool. Getting their fur wet will only make the matting worse. ​

 

15-minute swimming session (with complimentary rinse and towel dry) - $15.00 

Due to coat types, there is an additional charge for after swim brush out and blow dry

Short Double Coat - $5.00-$10.00

Long Double Coat - $10.00-$15.00
